I know not everyone has the time or inclination to cook. It is possible to have three square meals a day and spend very little time cooking. In this recipe I use a Ballymaloe Bolognaise Sauce. You can substitute this with any good quality pasta sauce. I look for sauces with little or no additives and preservatives.
Ingredients
Serves 1. Scale up if serving more.
Veg
240g/8oz pasta sauce. If you weigh your food add as much as you require on your plan. Add extra veg if necessary.
Protein
120g/6oz canned lentils, drained
Fat
30g/1oz mascarpone cheese
Carb
120g/4oz cooked rice
Method
Place pasta sauce, lentils and mascarpone cheese in a pot. Heat through and serve.
