If you have really struggled with portion control, constant grazing, or overeating, you may find it helpful to adopt some boundaries around portion control.
Everyone I work with is different, and everyone has plans that vary according to their food preferences, allergies, metabolism, and so forth. Their food plans also vary depending on how ‘powerless’ they are over food. Some people do better with very tight boundaries, others do well with less rigidity.
As I am on the extreme end of an overeating continuum, I do best when I have little or no say over my portion sizes. In this video, I show how I prepare and portion a Roast Vegetable Salad and Hummus.
