Coaching is like therapy but with a goal. Coaching is forward-looking. What can you do now to move forward? A coach is knowledgeable and an expert by experience in the areas the client wants to work on.

So much of who we are is based on how we feel about ourselves. So much of how we see the world is in direct correlation to our childhood. A good coach has the ability to be a witness and hold a safe space to help you connect the dots and break negative cycles.

Harmful eating patterns can be well entrenched and the cues that trigger these behaviours can be subtle and unconscious. When coaching I help people to uncover the emotional, physical, behavioural, and environmental cues that preceded episodes of unconscious or binge eating.

Goal

To provide individualised support through best approaches and practices, to help people with all types of difficulties with food transform to healthier lives through compassion, accountability, and empowerment.

Virtual or In Person

Coaching can be done virtually, via Skype, Zoom, or Whatsapp. We can also do sessions in your home, at the supermarket, or at restaurants.

  • Help you do develop a repertoire of simple, delicious, wholesome meals.
  • Help you to develop boundaries and identify co-dependent behaviours.

  • Help you to work through low self-esteem and self-worth, body dysmorphia, and body hatred.
  • Work through the 12 steps or another recovery program.
  • Self-help meeting navigation and attending meetings with you if necessary.
  • Daily guidance and support via email or text.
  • Helpful tools for navigating your unique obstacles in life.
  • Work with you to help find and attend healthy social activities and community integration.
  • Assess whether additional clinical resources (e.g. therapist) are clinically indicated and identify local providers in deemed appropriate.

Everyone has pain points when it comes to achieving full physical and emotional wellness. I’ll work closely with you to help identify and overcome your triggers.

Integrative

Since achieving wellness is more than just exercise and diet, I’ll be guiding you toward other helpful practices such as mindfulness training, cooking tips, shopping advice, and more.
