Journey To Recovery
Outgrowing entrenched habits, such as binge eating, anorexia, or bulimia, is a journey. For me, and many people I have worked with, it took time. Time to outgrow old ideas, time to practice trusting a new way of living, and time to develop self acceptance and self love.
Most eating disorders thrive on isolation and secrecy. Attempts to heal ourselves alone is therefore just what an eating disorder wants. It takes courage to ask for help and to acknowledge our weaknesses, but if you want freedom it is so worth the risk.
Goal
To provide individualised support through best approaches and practices, to help people with all types of difficulties with food transform to healthier lives through compassion, accountability, and empowerment.
Virtual or In Person
Coaching can be done virtually, via Skype, Zoom, or Whatsapp. We can also do sessions in your home, at the supermarket, or at restaurants.
Services Offered
- Promote recovery by helping you to remove barriers and obstacles to recovery by serving as a personal guide, cheerleader, and mentor.
- Help you to develop systems, strategies, and tools in order to manage your life more effectively.
- Assist with personal growth and healthy behaviour.
- Help you to work through low self-esteem and self-worth, body dysmorphia, and body hatred.
- Help you to establish boundaries and identify co-dependent behaviours.
- Organise and provide weekly updates to clinical team and family members, if you are still in their care.
- Assess whether additional clinical resources (e.g. therapist) are required and identify local providers if deemed appropriate.
- Help completing projects and/or filling out college/job applications.
- Self help meeting navigation and attending meetings with you if necessary.
- Work through the 12 steps or another recovery program.
- Assist with meditation and mindfulness training.
- Work with you to help find and attend healthy social activities and community integration.
- Environmental support.
- Support around shopping for food, and planning & preparing meals.
- Restaurant exposures.
- Spiritual guidance.
- Simple cooking tips and recipe ideas to add variety and flavour to meals.
- Assist you with reaching a healthy body weigh, long term.

Our initial sessions will be dedicated to assessing your current wellness and creating a personalized plan to fit your unique needs and goals.
Targeted
Everyone has pain points when it comes to achieving full physical and emotional wellness. I’ll work closely with you to help identify and overcome your triggers.
Integrative
Since achieving wellness is more than just exercise and diet, I’ll be guiding you toward other helpful practices such as mindfulness training, cooking tips, shopping advice, and more.
